Definitions

‘Company’ means TeepeePartyYK Mobile Slumber Parties

‘Hirer’ is the person, host/client, hiring the equipment from the company.

‘Equipment’ is the teepee(s) and other materials/décor/items specified in the invoice.

‘Period of hire’ is the period between completing the set up of the teepees/bell tent or equipment and décor) and the dismantling.

‘Hire charge’ is the amount payable by the hirer to the company as specified on the invoice.

‘Invoice’ is the form issued by the company to the hirer requesting payment of the hire charge and containing details of the equipment and period of hire.

 

The Company Undertakes:

  1. To deliver the equipment and proceed to erect it on the setup date shown on the invoice.
  2. To dismantle and remove the equipment from the site on the date shown on the invoice.
  3. Hirer Obligations:
  • To provide the company with a photo showing the position required for the equipment or have a representative on-site at the time of delivery for this purpose. In the absence of such instruction, the company shall position the equipment in the manner and location deemed appropriate by the company at that time.
  • Ensure the site is clean, flat, level, and firm. The company has the right to refuse to erect the equipment if the site is unsuitable.
  • No animals are allowed inside the teepees/bell tents.
  • The hirer must follow the guidelines given by the company in respect of the hirer’s conduct, safety, and minimizing damage to the equipment.

Additional:

  1. The Company requires payment  upfront  at the time of booking. 
  2.  The company will not refund any cancellations; the party can be rescheduled, to a different day.. 
  3.  Assembly, styling and pickup are included in the price.. Once the party is set up to the hirer’s satisfaction, the items may not be moved. Moving or disassembling items could result in a fee.(This is done to avoid/minimize damage)
  4.  If the hirer needs to change the date of their reservation, a minimum of seven (7) days’ notice must be given. Hirer's requests will be granted provided that the preferred date is available.
  5. The minimum party amount is $100.
  6. Tent rentals are picked up at 10 am the next day  (unless an alternative rental period is negotiated at time of booking)
  7. The company and hirer will agree on a time for both delivery and pick up. If the hirer fails to be present at the stipulated times, a late fee of $30 will be charged. The company will not enter a home unless the hirer is present
  8. All prices are subject to change; however, prices quoted at time of booking will always be honored.
  9. Strictly NO PETS are permitted on the company's  property. If animals are sighted on the company's equipment or pet hair is found on bedding, a $50 cleaning fee will be applied.
  10.  It is the responsibility of the hirer to take care of the company's property and to supervise children around the rental materials. The company will not be responsible for any injuries or physical damages due to equipment rentals.
    The company will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss (for example loss of enjoyment), damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description whatsoever which results from any of the following:
    i) The fault of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of his/her party or;
    ii) The fault of a third party not connected with the provision of your placement which we could not have predicted or avoided, or;
    iii) An event or circumstance which the company or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not have predicted or avoided, even after taking all reasonable care.
  11.  The company asks that no craft supplies, makeup, nail polish, food or drinks be inside or around the tents at any time. If there are stains found on the tents, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged. If the stains cannot be removed, the Customer will be charged $75 for each tent and/or sheet set that has to be replaced. Replacement charges for other damaged items may also apply. Customers will be emailed and/or called regarding any damages, and the invoice will be sent.
  12. All parties must be held in smoke-free environments. The company reserves the right to forfeit your booking without refund if staff finds the party room to contain cigarette smoke odor.
  13. The company reserves the right to forfeit your booking upon arrival to your property if we feel our equipment could be compromised or damaged due to unhygienic conditions. No refund will be given.
  14. The company requires that the designated tent areas be cleared of furniture. The company's representatives are prohibited from moving furniture. The company requires that floors be clean before our arrival.
  15. The company reserves the right to decline our service to certain locations in any city or neighborhood that may compromise our staff’s safety.
  16. Where applicable, the company's staff members will park as close to the hirer's setup area as possible, this often being in your driveway. Team members will always take due care when operating a vehicle on the hirer's property, however, the hirer must also ensure pets and children are always accounted for during the arrival time of the company's staff.
  17. The company will not be liable for any claim of personal injury, death, loss or damage to the property however caused, unless it is proved that such injury was caused by faulty material, workmanship or negligence on the part of the company.
  18. All slumber party and event setups may not be exactly the same as you see in photos on the company's website or social media platforms. The company  has full discretion on what items and décor are used in a slumber party. If the hirer sees a specific item or décor item that they would like as part of their slumber party, the company will try their best to make sure said item is used in the hirer's party/event subject to availability.

  19. The prices featured on the company's website are not binding. The company reserves the right to modify these prices. The price stated at the time of confirmation is binding.

  20. It is the hirer's responsibility to be sure the space is large enough to accommodate all teepees reserved. If the company arrives and the teepees do not fit, there will not be any refunds.

 

If the damage is extensive or items have to be replaced there will be additional fees charged as follows:

  • Excessive Cleaning Fee is $50 per item*

 

Damaged items that will need to be replaced will require the following replacement fees:

  • Teepee-$50 each
  • Fairy Lighting- $15 each
  • Air Mattresses- $30 each
  • Memory foam mattresses $120 each
  • Fitted Sheets- $20 each
  • Blankets- $30 each
  • Decorative/Throw Pillows- $15 each
  • Bed Tray-$30 each
  • Light box or other signage/décor- $20 each
  • Spa table- $200 each
  • Resin chairs -$50 each

The Company's decision is final in all matters relating to these Terms & Conditions.
